• This is a fun skills & drills program, meeting for 6 weeks from 9/4 through 10/9.  
• U6(Grade K) will play on Saturday mornings at the Norton Pike Softball Field from 9:00-10:00am.

• This program involves fun skills & drills with some small-sided game exposure, meeting for 6 weeks from 9/4 through 10/9.
• U8(Grade 1-2) will play on Saturday mornings at the Norton Pike Soccer Field from 9:00-10:30am.

• This program involves continued skills & drills development with small-sided games in an in-house league, meeting for 6 weeks on Saturday mornings & Wednesday evenings.  
• Saturday practices will be held at Norton Pike Soccer Field from 9:00-10:30am, 8/28 through 10/9. 
• Wednesday games will be held at Apthorp Common Field from 6:15-7:30pm, 9/1 through 10/6.
• U10(Grade 3-4) Skills Night will be held on Friday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm, starting 8/27 and continue through 10/8.

• This program involves a half-field game format with teams in an in-house league, meeting for 8 weeks from 8/26 through 10/14. 
• U12(Grade 5-6) will play on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at Apthorp Common Field from 6:15–8:00pm.
• U12(Grade 5-6) Skills Night will be held on Monday evenings from 6:15-8:00pm, starting 8/30 and continue through 10/11.

PROGRAM CHANGES FOR 2010!!!

NEW "Skills Night"

• U12(Grade 5-6) and U10(Grade 3-4) coaches will host an evening each week at Apthorp Common Field to focus on individual & team skill development: ball handling, trapping, shooting, passing & positioning.
  • U10(Grade 3-4) Skills Night will be held on Friday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm,
    starting 8/27 and continue through 10/8.
  • U12(Grade 5-6) Skills Night will be held on Monday evenings from 6:15-8:00pm,
    starting 8/30 and continue through 10/11.
• Travel/tournament teams: LYSL will continue the Grades 5-6 boy’s & girl’s travel teams, as well as the Grades 3-4 co-ed team participation in October tournaments– look for information in the coming weeks!

• LYS is in constant need of coaches, assistant coaches, referees and field prep help. Don't be afraid to support your children's soccer program! LYS can provide coaching clinics and referee training...any support would be greatly appreciated!
